Key Challenges:
- Professional development - CCSS website lists the new standards but getting resources that include specific instructional content aligned with the new standards is difficult. The text books and online resources are outdated. This issue is exacerbated by the fact that there are very few "real" ccss experts.
- Lack of incentive at the practioner's level. It is more a mandate.
- Lack of clear direction in terms how to include the new standars in the lesson plans.
